Twice per year, District 30 hosts a Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) to provide training for its leaders. The sessions offer mandatory training for club officers, as well as electives on other important topics. Regardless of whether you're a club officer,
Toastmaster or guest - everyone is encouraged to attend!
The TLI is divided into two halves - AM sessions and PM sessions. This allows more flexibility for attendees to fit the TLI into their busy schedules. Each officer training class will be covered in both the AM session and PM session. You only need to attend one session to get credit for your officer training. However, you are more than welcome to stay the whole day and take advantage of the other educational sessions that are offered!
A detailed agenda is below (schedule subject to change).
| TIME | DESCRIPTION |
| 8:00am – 8:30am | Registration If you pre-ordered lunch, please check-in at the registration desk located in the cafeteria to receive your lunch ticket. Attendance for training will be taken in the individual classes, and you do NOT need to check in at the registration desk. Please note that the Elective Class, “Goal Setting & Planning”, featuring Kim Taylor, has been cancelled due to a personal emergency of the presenter. It is with no small amount of regret that we have had to make this announcement and it is the decision of the TLI committee to not reschedule another elective class.
